A Visit from My Sis!!

Janel came to visit from MA this past week and it was so good to see her!! My parents brought her down to Sharmon's farm and our house so she could see that we really live out in the boondocks and LOVE it. We had such a good time visiting, shopping, visiting, shopping, letting the kids play, thinking of decorating and paint ideas for my house, oh and did I say visiting and shopping? We also took the kids swimming and that was a lot of fun! Ethan was a little afraid when we first got there and kept saying all the way from the dressing room to the pool "This is going to get fun. This is going to get fun." And sure enough it did. By the end he was jumping off the side of the pool and yelling "I'm ready for Bear Lake and the Boat" and then would jump off the side with the biggest splash possible. We are going to have to put him in swimming lessons this year. Garrison was content to play on the steps and practice his bubble blowing. He just talked and talked and talked to EVERYONE as they came in and exited the pool! Maybe he could be a people greeter there.

We followed them back to my parents for the weekend and had a lot more fun. Brady was awesome and let us have a girls weekend. He watched all the kids and let us go to the movie Twilight on Friday (Loved it by the way, My first time, Mom's 2nd and Janel's 3rd or 4th or more. Can you say BIG FAN!!) and on Saturday offered to keep the kids so we could go clothes shopping!!

It was so good to visit with my sister. It has been a while since she came to visit. We laughed and cried and laughed till we cried and had so much fun. New jokes were made, and old stories were brought up. (I still stand strong on the FACT that she had just as much part in the dent that her head put in the hallway; I will admit that I am the one her put her head there; but she started it.)

It was a great weekend and I am sure going to miss her.
