Landscaping?

This morning Garrison and Julia (My niece) wanted to go outside to play. They have had a blast the past couple days running around the backyard, playing in the mud and dirt, climbing on the little hill and just being kids. They have really enjoyed each other; they are about a year apart and seem to think on the same play level. They pretend so cute together.

Garrison has been bugging Brady and I to plant trees, flowers and bushes in the yard.We have only been here 5 months during the winter mind you, but that is no excuse! I think he just likes to dig in the dirt and get really dirty and Mom can't say NO. Well we have been trying to tell him it needs to be warmer for the plants to survive. He is not happy with our excuses, so this morning he enlisted the help of Julia to plant some "trees" (Sage Brush) for us. They were so proud that they did it and so excited for it to be standing in the ground!!

So for now Garrison has fixed our lack of landscaping in the backyard. He and Julia have planted several trees (Sage Brush) in the backyard to enjoy! I hope they don't blow away before we can get some real trees planted to enjoy!
