Funny Funny Children

Since we didn't have anyone to watch our boys while we went to Salt Lake on Thursday, we took the boys with us and left Wednesday night because of the storm and stayed with my parents. The boys were really excited to have a sleep over at G-Ma and G-Pa's house. In the morning rather than wake Mom for breakfast their favorite thing to do is snuggle with Grandma in her bed. This morning was no exception which was fine except that it was before 7 am! Garrison decided that he was hungry and started asking for his oatmeal.(He has to have a bowl of oatmeal EVERY morning and if he doesn't he gets MAD My Mom has learned this the hard way and has oatmeal on hand.) After whispering for Grandma to wake up to feed him she said " I will, lets wait for the alarm to go off in a few minutes and I will get up and feed you." Garrison's Reply "FORGET THE ALARM I NEED SOME OATMEAL" Grandma just laughed but we really need to work on his manners.
Grandma and Grandpa helped Ethan do his homework classifying sentences and counting money. For a reward for getting it done so fast they took them to the Dollar store (My kids Favorite) and out to lunch with them. While driving in the car Ethan pipes up and says... "Grandpa two dimes and a nickel and one dollar are antonyms not synonyms." Way to go Ethan combining English with Math What a smart kid!! Thanks Mom and Dad for taking them.
Brady and I were able to enjoy a peaceful lunch with his parents and we talked for hours. It was great to be able to go out with adults and great to see them too.
It was a fun fast trip to the city!!
