Ethan wanted to go swimming for his birthday at the new outdoor pool for the county. So we invited his cousins to go and join in the fun. They had a blast. There was not a spot in the pool that Ethan couldn't touch! He felt so big to be able to go around the lazy river all by himself. Garrison on the other hand was just a tiny bit to short for the lazy river but loved to play around the water play ground and spray all of us with water from the hoses or go down the slides.
After swimming we headed to the park for a picnic lunch and Birthday Cake. This year because Brady was at scout camp on Ethans birthday he asked for a Pineapple upside down cake! Since we don't eat pineapple very often it tasted awesome!!
We played on the playground and enjoyed an afternoon of cool weather and fun. We headed home after to open presents and headed to Pizza Hut for dinner. We missed Brady being with us and couldn't wait for the next night to celebrate with him.
