Sorry....
You will have to scroll down for the first part of the vacation. I posted them backward and don't have time to figure out how to change it!
More Vacation.....
Brady's family loves to explore on their Four wheelers and Rangers and the mountains around Bear Lake are a great place to do it. We decided to take a ride during the week and explore a trail that they had tried earlier in the year but couldn't finish because of the weather. We headed off all smiles and happy.......

It took 2 rangers, 1 razor, and 2 four wheelers for the entire family to go. We headed up the mountain side and everything was so pretty and green....
Brady thinks this hill side would be so much fun to snowmobile on!
We were enjoying the ride when the hillside became steeper and the trees began to invade the trails. I have to many scratches and bruises from trees and branches hitting me. Garrison decided to ride with Grandpa and the trails proved to much for him. We stopped to close a gate and Garrison jumped off the four wheeler and came to get into the ranger when I noticed that his lips were white and his face really pale. I yelled at him to get off and pulled him around just in time for him to throw up all over the place. I felt so bad. We were about half way through the trail and decided to put him in the ranger that was less bumpy and continue on our way in hopes that the trail would be better. It wasn't, it was even more steep and bumpy but Garrison seemed to be fine in the ranger. We started up a narrow hillside and found that the rangers wouldn't fit through two trees in the middle of the trail. Dallas was ahead of us and went off roading around the trees and as he came back onto the trail hit a log and his tire came off the rim!!! Here we are on top of the mountain, with Garrison threatening to puke, a flat tire off the rim with no cell phone service. I will admit I was beginning to get a little nervous. Luckily they had everything they needed to put the tire back on and we were able to continue down the mountain and finish the ride. By the time we got back down all of us had the best tan ever!!! To bad it washed off in the shower:) We were also a little surprised by the dog. We left with a nice clean white one and came back with a brown one. To much dirt if you ask me!!!

Family Vacation 2009!!!
Our Family Vacation has come and gone and everyone is asking me when I will be posting my pictures. Come on I have only been home 4 days and still trying to adjust to the real world again! So I decided while I wait for the washer to help tackle my 2 TONS of laundry I will start to post about our vacation. We went to Bear Lake for a week and had an absolute BLAST. We did so many things I am not sure if my blog page will hold them all.
We arrived at the lake on Saturday with Wes and Kristen and started setting up our new trailer! (Our old one was totalled by the insurance after we had some wind tear off part of the roof.) This was some what challenging because we had just gotten the trailer the week before and had not had time to try everything out. It took Brady a little while with a lot of head scratching to find where all the switches and buttons were but in the end we had everything, including hot water. (Who new that it had 2 buttons, one outside and one inside) We had a campfire for the kids and let them roast hot dogs for dinner!
On Sunday we headed out to church only to find out we had gone to the wrong town and the wrong time. We drove around the lake to kill time and ended up back in the town we started in just in time for Sacrament Meeting. As we pulled up I said to Brady " I didn't think there were that many people at the lake this weekend. This parking lot is beyond full." We parked down the street and walked in to find not a seat in the house. The chapel was full, the gym was full, the classrooms full, ALL FULL. We look at each other with shock and manage to find 2 seats to sit in and hold the boys on our laps. Let me tell you how organized that ward was. The Sacrament didn't take any longer than usuall. They were AWESOME. The Bishop got up to introduce the speakers and to our surprise they had Brother Cook from the Quorum of the 12 there to speak!!!! That explains why so many people.
On Monday we decided it was time to relax and play with the cousins. Water Fight anyone?

I need a solution.
I know this in gross and will probably embarrass my kids years from now but I need a solution.
My problem, MY BOYS CAN'T AIM. I am tired of sprinting to toilet anytime a guest askes to use my bathroom. I am tired of the amount of Lysol wipes I go through that are stashed in bulk behind the curtain in the window, and I am tired of pleading with them to watch what they are doing. I have almost resorted to folding oragami boats out of toilet paper or painting a target on the bottom of the toilet bowl! I can't stand it any more!!! If you have solution please share.

Sounding Just Like My Parents
I made a quick trip to Salt Lake this week with the boys in tow, to tackle some vacation preparation shopping I needed to do. We left in the afternoon which usually means the boys will sleep most of the way there; but not this trip. They were constantly fighting in the backseat. Mainly over Garrison's plans for the future. The ride went like this. Ethan: "Mom, I think that I want to be a firefighter when I grow up." Mom: "I think that is a great thing to want to be" (Driving. I can tell Garrison is thinking about something but doesn't want to say. Pretty soon he pipes up) Garrison: "Mom, I don't want to be a firefighter when I grow up." Mom: That's OK you can be ANYTHING you want when you grow up." Garrison: "When I grow up I want to make Captain Crunch Cereal!!!" (Far cry from the Doctor, Lawyer, or Successful business man I had pictured; but I did say ANYTHING) Ethan immediately pipes in "That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard" (And thus starts Garrison defending how cool it would be to make Captain Crunch Cereal for a living and Ethan telling him what a dumb idea it is and me trying first to ignore the battle in the back seat by turning up the radio and singing along. When that didn't work I tried unsuccessfully to try and break up the fight and finally had to use THE THREAT.)
Mom: "DON'T MAKE ME PULL THIS CAR OVER AND WAIT UNTIL YOU CAN BE QUIET!!!"
Needless to say it worked and we continued the drive with whisper fighting in the back seat. For the drive home I caved and stopped at the local Walmart and purchased YET ANOTHER DVD player so that we had complete peace and quiet on the way home. I just wish I had done it sooner!!!

4TH of July
I know 3 post in one day but now I am caught up!
I love the 4th of July. There is so much to do down here in a small town! They have a parade, and FREE carnival rides for the kids. They had a ferris wheel, swings, bounce houses, rock walls, obstacle courses, trains, and giant slides. The kids can just run from one thing to the next and being that there is not a lot of people the wait is short if any. They have live bands, great food, fireworks at night and oh yah cloggers!!!!
I started clogging with a group of ladies about a month ago. Little did I realize that they would make me perform at the 4th of July celabration. Brady thought I would chicken out but having a competitive spirit and not wanting Brady to win I did it. Brady said it is a bunch of
More Birthday Fun!!!
We have a tradition in our family that on your birthday you get to pick what you want for your birthday dinner. This usually consists of child favorite dinners from the boys anything from corndogs to spaghetti O's to going to Mcdonalds. This year Ethan got the best deal because Brady was at Scout Camp so mom let him choose where to eat out on his birthday (Pizza Hut) and his home cooked birthday meal the following night. He surprised us all when he asked for .........

CRAB LEGS and BBQ CHICKEN!!!
He was so excited for dinner on Friday night. He LOVES seafood. (unlike his mother) He orders it when we go out every chance he gets. I don't know many kids that like it as much as him. He ate this entire crab leg all by himself. My parents were down for the 4th and had dinner with us that night . They got a kick at Ethan digging for the meat and eating it as fast as he could. By the end he was stuffed. Everyone enjoyed the dinner even Garrison decided that he liked it. I told Brady that our dinners out just got really expensive!!!
